One of the best ways to save money shopping online now a days is to get free shipping. I did a search on Google for pillow pets free shipping. I was shocked with what I found.
One of the top search results was for Amazon.com. I went there and found the same 18” pillows that I paid $19.95 by buying direct from the manufacturer sells for $29.95 on Amazon.com. It says, “Eligible for SUPER SAVER Shipping”. When I clicked on it, it added $4.99 for shipping. What?
I was shocked even more when I looked at the “More Buy Options”. I saw I could get free shipping but I would have to pay $41.00! That is crazy! Who would pay that?
I checked out another website, wackyplanet.com. They had the 18” pillows for the inflated price of $29.95 just like Amazon. In addition to paying more you would have to wait two to three weeks before it shipped. If you got “free shipping” you would have to wait for USPS to deliver it via USPS saver, which is one of the slowest ways to ship. Not a good deal in my eyes.
It seems no matter where I look I keep finding that the best price, best shipping, best quality and best customer satisfaction comes from buying for the official Pillow Pets website.
When buying direct there is a shipping cost but it is only $6.95. But that is still less then the $29.95 you would have to pay at other sites. They do have a special deal for their new Patriotic pillow which does come with free shipping. They do donate $5.00 to scholarships for military children. Which is very cool.
